The Story

 At Tenute Monte Astili, we are dedicated to creating wines that narrate a unique story. Situated in the charming mountains, our vineyard yields wines that mirror the distinct terroir of the region and the spirit of our founder, Amer Murad. Raised with a blend of Lebanese and Belgian influences, Amer embodies the Mediterranean essence, cuisine, and zest for life. His upbringing instilled in him the values of hospitality and family, which resonate closely with Italian traditions. 

During his childhood, Amer cherished summer visits to his father's village in Lebanon, known for its historic olive trees, vineyards, and orchards. Following the challenges of the 2020 pandemic, Amer set sail across the Mediterranean and stumbled upon the enchanting island of Sardinia. Struck by its resemblance to his homeland, he decided to acquire this picturesque plot of land in a rural corner of the island. His love for winemaking led him to a traditional Sardinian country home surrounded by ancient vineyards, a perfect fit. In 2022, the property wad acquired. 

The year 2023 marked our inaugural harvest, and ever since, our mission has remained clear: to craft the finest Sardinian wines possible.
